We’re pleased to announce that HSMNY Executive Director Stephen James will be moderating a panel discussion at this year’s Left Forum 2014 conference entitled “Prejudices, Fantasies, and Justice”.<\/p>\n

The panel discussion, scheduled to take place from 10:00 AM to 11:50 AM on the morning of Sunday, June 1, is sponsored by the New York Chapter of the Ernest Becker Foundation<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Left Forum 2014 is being held May 30 through June 1 at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice of the City University of New York (CUNY), 524 West 59th Street (between 10th and 11th Avenues), New York, NY. The theme for this year’s conference is “Reform and\/or Revolution: Imagining a World with Transformative Justice”.<\/p>\n

Now celebrating its 10th year, Left Forum<\/a> is the largest annual conference in the United States of the broad spectrum progressive intellectuals, activists, scholars, organizations and the interested public.
